Description
Power up climbs. Charge down descents. The Rocky Mountain Altitude Powerplay Alloy 70 brings enduro capability to the world of e-MTBs.
It features Enduro geometry, big travel and the next-generation Dyname 4.0 drive system. Built for chasing steeps, laps, or all-day adventure.
The Altitude delivers stability, calm handling and natural power delivery.
It’s designed for enduro riders who want the power to climb faster, ride longer, and take on the tough trails. And without compromising on suspension performance or handling.
Power Meets Precision
At the core of the Altitude Powerplay Alloy 70 is Rocky Mountain’s exclusive Dyname 4.0 motor. It’s seamlessly integrated into the frame for a low centre of gravity and natural trail feel. Backed by a long-lasting 720Wh battery, this setup delivers powerful, intuitive pedal-assist that doesn’t hold you back.
Enduro-Ready Suspension
Tuned for aggressive terrain, the Altitude Powerplay Alloy 70 features:
- A Fox 38 fork with 170mm of travel. The GRIP damper can be adjusted to soft, medium or firm. The bigger fork creates supportive front-end control on steep, technical descents.
- A Fox Float X rear shock providing 160mm of rear wheel travel, keeps traction high. And your line locked in through rock gardens and high speed, raw, technical trails.
Both suspension units feature rebound adjustment to fine tune suspension response as well.
The Altitude Powerplay Alloy 70 Build
At it’s heart is the Shimano XT gearing components that are paired with XT Trail 4-piston brakes.
The Maxxis Assegai front tyre and Minion DHRII rear tyre combination is designed to elevate grip under speed and braking.
The Assegai is one of the best front tyres. Delivering exceptional grip over loose surfaces. The DHRII rear tyre rolls fast and allows riders to control their speed under braking.
The DoubleDown sidewalls offer more protection and support. Especially under the heavier weight of an E-MTB.
